LifeAct Cleveland Support Network

The LifeAct Team

LifeAct’s dedicated and caring instructors have delivered our educational, face-to-face suicide prevention program to over 170,000 students in Northeast Ohio since 2000.  They relay their knowledge of this sensitive topic and present it in a way that keeps middle and high school students engaged and open to sharing.

Our office staff maintains the passionate continuity for this organization while ensuring long-term viability and success in our mission.

Board of Trustees

Our Board of Trustees has taken a very active role in ensuring that our long term strategic focus is maintained and our financial position remains solid.  The professional and personal expertise our Trustees give to LifeAct is invaluable to the growth of our organization.  We currently enjoy 22 engaged and dedicated Trustees supporting LifeAct’s mission.

Associate Board

LifeAct’s Associate Board was developed in 2017 for young adults who are interested in getting involved on a volunteer board and learn more about LifeAct. For more information about the Associate Board, please contact LifeAct at 216-464-3471.

Youth Advisory Board

LifeAct’s Youth Advisory Board (YAB) currently has 30 dedicated Northeast Ohio high school students to help us with our messaging to ensure what we say – and how we say it – has purpose and relevance to reach our target audience.  They also assist us by volunteering their time to our two major fundraising events – Into the Light Walk and Links for Life Golf Outing.  We rely on their knowledge to help us understand and connect with middle and high school students.

For more than 20 years the LifeAct Team has been helping to save lives in Northeast Ohio. By educating teens to understand and identify the warning signs of depression, LifeAct empowers them with the tools they need to get help for themselves, or another, in order to help prevent suicide.
